In Tom we are backing a club legend, a real Mr Club who has been with Hailsham for the last 13 years. Having lead the 1st XI and the 2nd XI he brings leadership and skills to take the current crop and develop the young guns coming through.
In Molly we have a true pioneer for the ladies game. Having been involved since the height of a harrow bat, Molly was crowned Sussex Bowler of the Year 2024 and was rewarded with the captaincy of the Roses team in 2025. In Molly we see greatness and a winning mindset. -
Micháel Meggs
Micháel Meggs is an accomplished international cricketer with a proven track record of leadership, performance, and progression across multiple cricketing pathways.
A former Jamaica national youth representative at Under-15, Under-17, and Under-19 levels, he served as opening pace bowler for each age group and captained Wolmer’s Boys’ School throughout his entire high-school career — including a rare achievement of captaining both the U14 and U16 teams simultaneously while competing at U19 level.
An impactful all-rounder, Micháel is known for his aggressive batting, consistent run-scoring, and wicket-taking pace, highlighted by scoring Wolmer’s first-ever home century (113*) and regularly leading both batting and bowling statistics. His athleticism and reliability in the field further define his well-rounded game, while his leadership helped guide teams to multiple finals and knockout appearances.Micháel’s career has included training and competition in England with Essex and Kent County Cricket Clubs, working alongside some of the game’s most respected professionals, before moving to the United States. Now based in New York, he competes at a high level domestically and is a contracted player in the National Cricket League, a professional competition backed by global cricketing legends. Currently representing the New York Lions, Micháel continues to progress through the U.S. cricket pathway, driven by the ambition to represent the United States on the international stage.
